I like to look at handmade clothing as functional art. It is a wonderful way to express the uniqueness of each one of us. I will never make anything exactly the same, nor would I want to! A majority of my clothes are my own designs because I like the process and progress from start to finish. I gather my inspiration from life: nature, the diversity in everyone, the way things move, things out of the ordinary...and many others! When I was trying to come up with a name for my business, I thought of how I feel in my clothing and how I want to make others feel. I use a lot of earth tones in my work. I want people to feel comfortable, content, and confident in my creations. "Glow" makes me think of many beautiful things. I think of pregnant women that glow with excitement of carrying a new life within them; I think of the moon that glows gently through the night(I have always been a night person!); I think of love; I think of reality in a fantasy world...or maybe bringing dreams to life. *Natural Glow* I also believe that everything happens for a reason so enjoy it! I hope this helps you understand my motto a little better: "Glow with the flow..."
I've never considered myself to be "normal." Then again, what is "normal" anyway? Let me rephrase, I've always known I was an artist. I draw and paint, play and compose music, write poetry (that I like or think is horrible, depending on the day), have been involved in theatre and dance-I want to do it all! I am currently going to school for music, playing piano and trumpet. I am also in a performing arts group made up of six beautiful souls. I am 'inspired by anything that makes me feel anything.' Family is very important to me. I try to be a peacemaker. I love hugs. I dream of traveling the world (France and Africa on the top of the list!). I like to look at the stars. I love to learn new things. I non-intentionally end up rearranging my apartment every 4 to 7 weeks ( I also like change). And, I heard that if you eat a banana, it's supposed to make you feel happier! Don't believe me, ask the dishes! I mean, try it!

I don't mean to sound stupid, but what kind of festival are you speaking of when you mention "festival dress?"
I was wondering the same thing!
